Hi!

I discovered that I have a leak between two sheet metal seams outdoors. Should I use outdoor silicone or roofing compound? I want it to last a long time, which it might not with silicone?

Thanks

Best regards
Kalle

What kind of sheet metal is it? Sheets should usually overlap with a 2-3 dm underlying part, so to speak. There's probably no "repair" that lasts long...

Hi, it's window sheet/aluminum. What do you think is best to use?

window sill as well as sill that goes under panels on a dormer

Are there pictures? As I said, not good to try to glue, it doesn't hold in the long run.
