Hello,
I am planning to put up house numbers and don't want to drill unnecessarily thick holes in the facade. The screws need to be 120mm long (possibly 100mm might work).

I'm looking for 6mm thick plugs, i.e., 6x120. But I can only find 8mm and up.

The facade is plastered brick.
I was considering nail plugs, but most I find are for indoor use, and I prefer to screw instead of hammering, as I'm afraid the house number might crack (it's made of plastic).

Any advice?

The plug should not be as long as the screw, and part of the screw goes through what you are mounting.

Just double-checking, what are the facade numbers you are going to put up? It seems a bit overkill with 120mm screws. Or how thick is the plaster layer?

Just so you don't just go through the facade brick and end up in the air gap behind it. If it's regular simple numbers, probably a max of 60mm screw will be enough. But maybe they are large/heavy items.

Hello, these are custom-made plastic numbers with lighting, 65cm high, weighing about 700g each. I want to have them at a 4 cm distance from the facade so that they appear to be floating.

Therefore, I have calculated the screw length as follows:
4 cm into the brick, 2-3 cm plaster, 4 cm distance, 1 cm thickness of the facade number (since it is reinforced around the screw holes).

So the plug needs to be 80mm long, and the screw itself should be longer, about 120mm, due to the distance and material thickness.

But the plug only needs to attach the brick

Nice! Then I think a plug of about 50mm will be enough. You can buy plugs and screws individually/by weight at places like Hornbach/Bauhaus.
