hi

I was wondering if there are any men here who could answer if these interior walls are load-bearing, as we would like to remove a wall down by bedroom 2 towards the living room.

  • Floor plan showing a house layout with two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and balcony. Query about removing the wall between Bedroom 2 and the living room.
What material is in the wall and the joists above/below?
Is there a basement underneath?
I assume the stairs lead to an upper floor.
Which "direction" are the joists/trusses placed? The house is quite square.

It is plaster, plywood studs, at a metal angle, this is the upper floor so the stairs lead down to the basement, the trusses are crossed towards the road. I thought since they have done so between the kitchen and dining room. It is a sutärenghus. Thanks for the quick response!
