anyone with experience of 1.5mm STO plaster
We would like a finish with a slightly rougher texture. Does anyone know if 1.5mm is too fine? Is there a significant price difference to switch to coarser stones? (Can it still be sprayed on?)
I would also appreciate tips on color codes if anyone knows of a nice gray color that works well as a finish.

called the plasterer. to go up from 1.5 to 2 or 3 mm, the cost was negligible (3-4 thousand on a job that costs 180,000kr). However, I do not know how coarse 1.5 mm is; it should preferably be visible that it is plastered..
one more thing I have been thinking about is if you want a white frame around the windows, do you have to plaster this too, or are there other better solutions?

In two weeks, the "plaster guys" will come to start working on our facade. Finally, it's going to look like a real house!!
We are paying about 135,000 for 152m2 of facade (NOTE: Not including windows and doors) with 2mm plaster and smooth plaster around the windows and doors. I'm planning to ask the guys how much extra it would be to add a few centimeters at the corners of the house and around the windows because I think it looks so nice, but it can't get too expensive, otherwise I'll be satisfied with just smooth plaster.
