Angling an expansion fitting

Hello

I want to install a retractable drying rack under a countertop. The space is tight, and I cannot place expansion brackets on the sides. I'm wondering if I can angle them and screw them up into the countertop, then attach the drawer from above, so to speak.

There will be completely different forces at angles that the brackets aren't designed for. I will show in a picture how it might look.



What do you think? Can it be expected to hold 10 kg?

the risk is that the sides of the rail bow out and all the balls roll out, and then you have no drawer.

there are drills with bit holders. always best to assemble as intended even if 10 kg is not that much.

finns borr med bitsfäste. alltid bäst att montera som det är tänkt även om 10 kg inte är så mycket

Problemet är inte att det är trångt vid montering utan när jag ställer tillbaka vitvarorna. Jag får inte plats med beslagen i vanligt sidomontage. Därför funderar jag på att lägga dem ned.

Everything is purchased but not installed. There are special brackets that can withstand the weight in that direction but they were a bit too large for me. I've bought a pair of regular ones of good quality that I hope will hold some weight.
