Can someone kindly answer whether it's possible to achieve this angle with Hålkälslist or is it a lost cause? It's the angle where the flat ceiling meets the slanted ceiling that I can't seem to get right with the moldings.. I've searched the forum but can't find a good answer, tips are wanted from an extremely frustrated person.

  • Ceiling corner where the flat ceiling meets a sloped ceiling, with molding alignment issue circled in black.
A ceiling block is your savior!

don't know if it helps but I usually think that the fence on the saw is the ceiling and the actual saw table is the wall, if you lay the trim like that and start with 22 degrees (so ignore tilting the blade itself)
In this case, the groove will then look diagonally up towards the ceiling

The problem might already be solved but this is how it looks in our place, one room without molding covering the gap, another with a wedge inserted to create a nice finish:

  • Corner of a room with wooden ceiling panels and wall, showing an unfinished edge and decorative gold star hangings.
  • Ceiling corner without molding, exposing a gap; partial view of decorative star-shaped garland hanging below.
  • Corner of a room showing a ceiling with wooden panels and a gap covered by a white trim piece, creating a neat finish between ceiling and wall.
  • Corner of a room with unfinished and finished walls showing trim and wedge detail for aesthetic completion.
