Angle screwing

but with screws then, sometimes another one might be needed. just to keep the rule from twisting.

I say it's enough for the studs to just hold together when you raise them, so a 50mm long deck screw at each end is more than sufficient.Studion said:
And if you run out of screws, tape might work

Great start on byggahus, not even up to 100 posts, and yet already at odds with a forum god, that's quick work! Or at odds is the wrong word, you've rather snapped back at him! Okay, if it's like in certain threads where people keep nagging about certain things that you've said thanks but no thanks to. However, here it was actually just a small tip that you have the right to dismiss, but the way you do it probably doesn't help you directly!Studion said:

so you wouldn't want tips on a cheaper and better alternative?Gurkan_1963 said:

Yes, it's actually really annoying when you ask a simple straightforward question and people start questioning and giving lots of other suggestions instead, and no one answers the question you asked.
But it's also quite thankless to snap at those who still take the time to try to help in their, albeit somewhat awkward, way. Ignoring them instead is my suggestion and focus on the question, ask it again if necessary.
That's what I did in another forum when I asked a question there. There was some forum god there who was unusually persistent with seemingly irrelevant questions and became mightily annoyed when I didn't answer his questions at all. So when he eventually got rude to me for not caring about his questions, I asked him to provide any advice he had instead and drop his rude attitude. Then chaos ensued. In that forum, apparently, you were obliged to first answer all imaginable questions everyone else had about things related to your own question, and if you didn't, you were considered odd. Those who, however, ignored answering the original question were, for some reason, not considered odd. When people demand that you as the original poster should answer "off-topic" questions from those who haven't even made the slightest effort to answer the original question, then it's gone way overboard. I have never seen it that bad here on byggahus, fortunately.
So yes, I fully understand the original poster's frustration. My only advice is, don't respond, ignore, possibly rephrase the original question.
