Hello,

I am the amateur, after all. :)

I accidentally plastered the walls first due to lack of knowledge. I just started plastering the ceiling and needed to google solutions when I found a guide showing the order in which to plaster a room.

The room will have ceiling & floor moldings.

How big of a problem is this? Should I tear it down and start over, or can I live with it?

Are you going to have a cornice or just 90 degrees?

The room will have crown molding.

Then I see no problems with the order.

Thank you so much for the quick response.

Have a nice weekend :)

Why should you plaster the ceiling first? Wonders another amateur.

Easier to achieve a nice ceiling angle then. Leave a small gap when installing the ceiling panels, which is then covered when installing the wall panels. Measurement errors on the wall panels can be hidden behind baseboards.

If you plaster the ceiling angle, it's an advantage for the filler to rest on an edge instead of hanging (gravity) easier to get it right with a paper strip.
