Planning an extension with a parallel roof. The problem is that the roof ends against the wall of the existing house. How do you ensure good air circulation in the air gap? The roof consists of Felt, board, air gap (45), wind protection, insulation, battens, gypsum.

You do exactly as you have drawn. Make the wall upstand at least 300mm.
