Hello!

I'm about to start installing Moelven's interior panel in my heated storage room. Can I nail the planks directly onto the framework (60 cm center-to-center vertical studs)? From the outside, it's exterior cladding - air gap/batten - wind barrier - insulation - vapor barrier.

I've searched online and from what I understand, battens are used on walls where it's difficult to nail/attach the panel to the wall.

I would prefer to avoid an air gap on the inside since the storage room is small as it is.

Grateful for answers

In terms of moisture, there are no problems (you have the air gap outside), but the question is whether cc60 is sufficient or if the panel should be on, for example, cc30? If so, you may need to kortla.

The direction might be tricky too? I assume that cc60 on the studs is vertical? If the panel is to be mounted vertically, it becomes a bit tricky then - otherwise, it's easier :)
