I have built around a Handöl insert at home and have now reached the plastering stage. I stopped by Beijer the other day to "ask someone who knows;)" about the choice of plaster. Above the insert, I have placed a support plate on which I continued to build with lightweight concrete blocks to reduce the weight a bit. I asked at Beijer what type of plaster should be used since it will get quite hot above the insert and therefore on the first layer of lightweight concrete. They recommended, after calling and asking some "plaster expert," gypsum plaster. But I read here on the forum that small cracks have appeared in those who have used gypsum plaster above the insert. I initially thought of using C cement mortar, but was advised against it by Beijer. It should be noted that I have mixed a bit regarding materials during the construction.

base - leca
around the insert - bricks followed by more leca
above the insert - lightweight concrete

so to the question...what type of plaster do you recommend out there? Should I take a chance with the gypsum plaster, or would it work to prime and then plaster with C cement mortar over the entire package? Grateful for answers:)
