Hello!
I've started to become interested in a house that is partially built with lightweight concrete. What are the disadvantages (and possible advantages) of this material? One disadvantage is obviously the risk of blåbetong, but that can be checked.
From the house listing:
* 1-story with a basement level
* Built in 1965
* Foundation: Concrete slab
* Foundation wall: Concrete
* Frame: Lightweight concrete
* Floor structure: Lightweight concrete
* Facade: Brick
It's not entirely in lightweight concrete, but I assume all the walls are made of this material, or does a concrete foundation wall mean that the lower level/basement is entirely concrete? Currently, I live in an apartment with reinforced concrete everywhere, and one thing is certain, when you've screwed something into those walls, it stays put.
