I have a foundation of old cement block. I would like to add insulation above ground on the exterior with 70-100mm of suitable material and plaster the surface. Cement block is brittle and porous, so plugs are not ideal. Someone suggested gluing polystyrene board with plaster onto the wall. Does anyone have experience with this or suggestions for another suitable method?
