Thinking about installing acoustic panels on the ceiling of the attic. According to the instructions, they should be screwed in every 60cm (center-to-center measurement), for obvious reasons I can only screw these in every 120cm (roof trusses). Will it still work or should I reconsider and think about using a regular type of panel, like something from Moelven?

Of course, it depends on what your intertak looks like up in the attic. Show with some educational images.

Of course, here is a picture from the construction.

The acoustic panels are intended to be laid lengthwise towards the gable shown in the picture so that the fastening points are on the trusses.

since you have framed it so nicely, you just need to attach it to the studs?

In other words, there's no need to attach it to the rafters.

It wouldn't have been a problem if I wanted them in a vertical direction (from the attic space up towards the ridge). However, I don't want them like that but in a horizontal direction. The studs in the horizontal direction are 1.2m apart and are screwed into the rafters.

Edit: Maybe you mean that you could screw the panel into the battens at 60cm from the rafter, even if these do not go in the same direction as the rafter? I didn't think of that since I was focused on having the screws at exact distances.

Yes. On your edit

And otherwise, you frame according to how you want to set the panels/covering :)
