Hello! In a few weeks, we will be installing beadboard, moldings, etc. Untreated pine. We have now placed it in a room with indoor climate, slightly elevated from the floor, and with weight on top (tile packages). Do you think the wood will acclimatize in an OK way in this setup, or should we spread them further apart with a larger air gap so that the air circulates better?

  • Unfinished pine wood panels stacked in a room, topped with boxes for weight, presumably in preparation for acclimatization before installation.
  • Unfinished pine boards stacked on the floor with red ceramic tile boxes placed on top for weight, in a room with indoor climate for acclimatization.

I think it will be fine. We're talking WEEKS.

It should be added that the pärlspont was stored outdoors during the summer in plastic packages at the carpentry workshop. The moldings were stored indoors.
