Hi everyone.
Quick overview:
Forced connection to water and sewage (VA).
I have now encountered some problems with the water pipe and frost-free depth.
Where the water pipe is supposed to enter the basement, Northern Europe's largest stone or rock has appeared at the fine depth of 70cm.
My thought - if I take a regular sewage pipe (about 1.5 m long) and run the water pipe through it, fill the pipe tightly with foam sealant and place a layer of ground insulation board (100mm) on top, and then a heating cable in the water pipe, is that safe?

What do you think about the idea with the sewage pipe and foam sealant - does it work?

Hope for answers.

You are probably safe with just a heating cable, but it would be preferable to avoid using one. Regarding the drainpipe with expanding foam, I think it will be difficult to keep the water pipe in the middle of the pipe until the foam hardens. Isn't it better with just regular pipe insulation, and then lay down a ground insulation board on top? Make it extend well, and it should be fine. Since the basement is heated, there is rarely any significant frost right outside the basement foundation.
