365mm aerated concrete, is that sufficient according to today's energy requirements???

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if anyone here knows if it is approved to build my house frame with 365mm lightweight concrete blocks considering today's energy requirements?

I talked to the consultant who will be making my construction drawings today (they also do energy calculations at that firm) and he was doubtful that it would be approved, but I seem to recall that it should work great.

Hope someone here can shed some light on this question

Depends on the insulation value of the blocks and how much window area/insulation value of the windows, roof insulation, and floor insulation you are going to have.
