I am going to enclose the patio and will have windows on one side. There are posts with a 160 cm spacing, and I will install framing between them for the windows.

The window track will sit on a plank 22/28 mm thick and be secured with angle brackets at the ends.

I guess it should be enough with 2 posts under the board (between the large posts) which will result in about 53 cm between the attachments.

The glass weighs about 20 kg together.

Or will a 22 mm board flex?

The attachment will be (c/c):

Angle bracket, 53 cm free-hanging, post 70x70, 53 cm free-hanging, post 70x70, 53 cm free-hanging, angle bracket.

How large is the window and how should it be mounted?
Why are you using stolpar instead of studs?
Should it be insulated?
You mention a glazed conservatory, how much is "glass" and how much is the rest?
Will you have any form of inner wall?
Outer wall?

window width 150cm consisting of 2 sliding windows Alu approx 20 kg total. wall 80cm high, window 120 cm high.
existing posts to the ceiling are 95x95.

the wall:
external panel standing, horizontal batten (possibly vertical batten for vent), wind barrier, insulation in the wall 95 cm/frame structure, possibly wind barrier, horizontal panel as interior wall

should probably use 45x70 instead of posts I realize now.

Rules definitely, but why not 95 to match the rest of the construction?

Hi,

Edit!

Didn't read the question carefully enough and answered something completely different.

was thinking 45x70 to be able to put some insulation but it probably does very little so it might be 45x95.

70 needed for the window tracks
