Hi,

Can you apply plaster on a surface that looks like this or are studs needed?



Furthermore, how do you lay plasterboards on top of Treetex? It has indeed been very time-consuming to remove the Treetex, and going forward I would rather keep it, I think.

Hard to say, you can't really see how uneven it is. Start with one layer, if it's not smooth enough, apply another layer and it should even out.

Yes, if the tretex is flat, the plaster will be flat

Yep, but screw gently so that the gypsum screw doesn't pull through the gypsum. After a few screws, you'll get the feel for it

Regular drywall screws for 3 layers of drywall should be enough to reach the wooden wall.
Use the screwdriver you have, regardless, you'll get the technique after a few screws
