Hello!
I have two sliding doors that need to be installed in a wardrobe space. However, the ceiling height is 2500 mm and the doors, including the baseboard and ceiling track, measure 2350 (according to the installation instructions). This means I need to build a "ledge/beam" down from the ceiling to attach the ceiling track. I would like to discuss some different options:
Would you attach a beam to the ceiling and build this small piece as a half-wall?
Or lay 3 beams lengthwise (90*45) from the ceiling then plasterboard, which will make it ~15 cm.
Or an even better option?
It will be at most 15 cm high and 170 cm long.
Or do you have other ideas? I couldn't find anything about building these, but it should be relatively common when installing sliding doors.

I had taken two studs with a distance between them to make it 150mm.
No need to waste a whole stud as a spacer. Cut pieces of 15cm from a 45 stud and complement with a piece of planed strip or similar at 15mm, so you get a total measurement of 150mm from the ceiling.
Stud 45x90 1700mm
Spacers 45x90, 4pcs x150mm
Spacers something you have at home that is 15mm, 4pcs x 150mm (plywood, strip, panel or anything)
Stud 45x90 1700mm
