I have discovered the glue Loctite power flex, a super glue that actually works.
Costs almost nothing to try, 30:- if I remember correctly.

Yes, it's great. I've been gluing all fall with one of those. The gel is good because it adheres to surfaces where the thin superglue gets absorbed.

For plastic sheets, I heard that there are glues that react with the plastic and "weld" it together. I've looked a bit at Loctite, but their product pages were hard to navigate. Also, I don't know much about plastic types either, styrene, PVC, ABS, poly-something, and all the others. They might require different glues.

I would like this bonding to be neat, sturdy, and permanent for over 10 years.
