Drying time for beadboard before installation?
Set it up, once it's in place and painted, it will be fine. Solid wood is a natural material and moves slightly depending on the season. If you want to avoid this, you should choose a panel made of another material.

I installed the beadboard in the living room in front of the TV and let it sit for 2 months, mounted it, and two pieces were missing. I fetched more from the barn where it had been lying for over two years.
Result: the ones I let sit indoors beforehand have not shrunk, and the three pieces I took in from "outside" have shrunk 3-5 mm. So, I'm going to remove these three pieces and put up new ones so that it looks OK.
