Yet another load-bearing wall thread, expand the kitchen

When expanding the kitchen, we considered taking down this wall. Is there a risk that it is load-bearing, or can it just be taken down?

The wall should not be load-bearing, but if the house has settled, it may have become so over time. In that case, the ceiling will sag slightly when the wall is removed.
