I would need spacers of 1 mm - 2 mm that I can place under another piece so it reaches the right height.

Any suggestions on what I can find at the hardware store (Beijer, K-Rauta, Byggmax, Bauhaus)?

Otherwise, maybe I can just buy something else and cut it apart to use. For example, some cheap plastic placemat from Jysk. They should maybe be 1mm thick or so.

Both Biltema and Bauhaus have sets of plastic spacers in thicknesses from 1-5 mm. They cost about fifty kronor. I have bought from both places.
