Hello,
I have a 30-40 sqm so-called brewhouse on my property that I would love to be able to heat in the winter. The house consists of stone walls plastered on both the inside and outside, 5 single-pane windows, a chimney, and an asbestos roof. There is no insulation today.
I've thought about adding insulation from the inside, but I would lose both floor space and ceiling height. Do you, good people, have any tips, advice, or experience regarding heating such a house? (I realize it will never be particularly economical, but perhaps there's a more or less smart way to solve it—I've heard about insulation from NASA and all sorts of things ;-) )
Happy holidays!
