Wind barrier without insulation, is a nailing batten needed for paneling?
It's time to start putting panels on our 14m2 shed. We won't insulate but want to put a wind barrier on the frame before the panel. Do I need to put battens over the wind barrier? We will have horizontal panels, so we could nail the panels directly to the frame, which of course reduces work and materials.
But is it a bad idea to attach the panel directly to the frame on top of the wind barrier? Is the air gap between panel and wind barrier necessary? I think there should still be a fairly good airflow behind the panel since there's no insulation.

I would at least install strö/bärläkt 24x36 mm on top of the wind barrier.
But why do you need a wind barrier at all?

I have a wind barrier at home that's enough and a "maybe insulation in the future" feelingKnockOnWood said:
But I don't know if I have the energy to go and buy laths, so maybe I'll skip the wind barrier for that reason. It feels a bit like it might do more harm than good if you install the panel directly against it?
