Considering buying a house but I read that houses in the middle of farmland are really bad. The wind blows everywhere and even though the view is clear, a big store can be built out of nowhere. I know many people live like that in Skåne and it’s known to be very windy. Is it better to live in a residential area or on a beach plot?
It's about what you want and can afford.
Personally, I want to live in a way that you have "contact" with the neighboring houses, not in the middle of nowhere. But with the neighboring houses at a comfortable distance for minimal intrusion. I want convenient access to the city without necessarily having to take the car all the time.
I would love to live on a beachfront property, but I can't afford it.

Everything depends on what you value. I live with farmland as a neighbor, and the immediate downsides are, as you say, wind, but also dust during harrowing and harvesting, as well as when it gets dry with bare soil and the wind blows.
Otherwise, it's fantastic to have the course of nature right outside your doorstep and no neighbors standing and staring at what you're doing.
