Who should you ask for help with moisture in the wall?

We have moisture in an interior wall in the basement and don't really know where to turn. Don't know where it's coming from. Maybe from the roof, but it's 1.5 floors down, and we haven't seen anything higher up. Maybe a dripping pipe?
Who should you hire for this kind of issue? I'm not particularly handy myself, so I need help!

What type of house are we talking about? Age?

Partially old house! The basement is from the 30s.
It should be added that the moisture comes from above!
