Hello!
In our newly purchased terraced house, we removed an old closet that was in the entrance/hallway. Behind it, in one corner, there was a gap in the wall. The hallway, as I understand it, was not originally built with the terraced house but added later as an extension. The gap is 5 cm wide and about 2.20 cm high.
In the gap, there are 5-6 deeper holes about 5-7 cm deep, otherwise, it's about 1.5 cm to fill.
I would like to fill it in but don't know what material I should use.
Will sand filler not cover such depth? Should it be some joint material? or husfix?

Best regards, Husfixaren Gap in wall corner with exposed insulation, wooden paneling, and drywall. Gap in wall corner with exposed insulation and wood frame, showing drill holes. Wall is beige with hanging coat visible on the right.

A bit hard to see but it seems like the best solution is to remove the narrow piece of gypsum and replace it with a new wider one that covers.
