What plaster was used on basement walls in the sixties?

I will improve the plaster in the basement of our 60s house. The original plaster has partially come off, especially down by the floor. The pieces that have come loose are porous and dusty. I suspect it's some form of lime plaster. Does anyone know what was commonly used for plastering in the sixties?

lime mortar probably. might have been repaired with another type of mortar

Very likely it's lime mortar, that's what we had on our house anyway. Weber surely has lime plaster.
