Maybe not the right forum, but do you know what this screw is called, it is threaded on the inside and I am looking for the other part that is supposed to screw into this. It's for a waist belt.

  • A threaded metal screw insert, likely for a mid-belt application, held in a hand and wrapped in plastic.
It's kind of like an m4 (or m3, or m5, can't know without measuring or trying) machine screw you need, a very short one too.

Edit, considering the length and usage, m3 or m4 is probably the most reasonable, and there's likely a suitable model at Clas Ohlson :)

Standard machine screw and a washer in any size, type

It is usually called a socket screw.
NO, NO, NO. Hylsmutter is it!

Steel hex nut bolt viewed from above, commonly mistaken for hex screw.

He probably doesn't want a machine screw with a hex head on his stomach. A saddle maker or a shoemaker who also handles leather belts might have suitable spare parts.

Thanks, I'll check if there are hylsskruv in regular stores, otherwise to the cobbler.

The second part is not a socket screw. It is a machine screw with a large flat head.
