Hello
We are about to pour and lay new stone/tiles on our two balconies and terrace (see pictures of the terrace). It's time to choose stone/tiles, and now we face the decision of what to choose. The house is from the 1930s, and currently, large bricks lie on the terrace that have been damaged by frost, which has also happened on the balconies.
What is the best material today to lay outdoors that can withstand all temperatures and moisture?
We would like to use something that does not ruin the 1930s feel.
Does anyone have any ideas or experience with stone on a balcony?

A terrace with brick flooring and steps, showing signs of wear and weather exposure, surrounded by trees and a partially covered area on one side.
