Hi forum friends!

I have torn down a balcony that was built on top of a part of the downstairs in the house. The balcony is 2x10m and currently has galvanized sheet metal as waterproofing. The sheet metal is not in good condition and I need to fix something on top before I can build decking and railing, etc. I can't remove the sheet metal as it was built in behind the facade when it was replaced many years ago.

I visited my local building supply store twice and asked for advice; the first person I spoke with thought Micoral might be sufficient but if I wanted to be more sure I should use macoflex or RAW HP2200.

The second guy I talked to recommended topsafe, which seems more like a proper roof.

I have extremely little knowledge about this and hope I can get some input from you! Of course, I want to get away as cheaply as possible but I also want to make sure it's done right...

Very grateful for any answers!

Anyone with any experience?

Seems like few people know anything about this. I'll write here if I find out something useful ☺️
