I am going to replace the decking floor (not the joists) in our sunroom. Bought XL-bygg's xlent decking in early June this year and planned to install it relatively soon after that. But due to small children and lack of time, it didn't happen, which led me to store the boards in our garage (a kind of metal shed) where it has been quite warm during the summer. I guess the decking boards have become quite dry with an increased risk of them becoming warped, etc. Now I am planning to reinstall the floor (about 3 months later), and my question is whether you think I need to water the boards before installation?? If so, how should I proceed?

It is likely not enough to just water the boards; they will probably need to soak for a while.

Wooden boats are sometimes placed on the bottom for up to a week, depending on the type of wood, surface treatment, etc.

It's possible to apply “wet wraps” around the decking boards instead of putting them in water.
