Hello!
I'm in the planning stage of building an interior wall with two IKEA PAX units "built-in." I've done some CAD work, and this is what I've come up with. I should also mention that I don't have previous experience in this kind of work, and it's my first major project in the house (I'm an enthusiastic amateur). So I want to check with you what you think.
You don't need to check the measurements unless you see something completely crazy, of course. I'm more wondering about the construction technique: if I've drawn/thought right and what you think of the whole thing.
One thing I'm particularly wondering about is on the right side of my drawing where the stud is in the wall. Do you place a whole 900OSB against the wall and then take 45CC from that edge furthest in towards the wall? The first stud coming from the right would be offset by 2.25 cm, and then the rest of the studs would be 45CC from the placement of the second stud.
One more thing: the 3000 mm wardrobe, how would you do it on the right? I've drawn in 3 studs that I thought the wardrobe could stand against. There's a 45 mm gap there, is that enough to open an IKEA PAX door and also pull out a drawer? I need to be able to open the door more than 90 degrees if there are drawers in the corner.
Best regards,
Vildmark
