On the floor against the outer walls of the garage, a gray-white powder forms that seems to come from the wall. I regularly have to sweep up quite a lot of it. Could it be lime that is part of the plaster? Why was such a material used? Built in 1946.

A few years ago, we installed Platonmatta on the outside and there is also heating in the garage.
Is there anything else that can be done besides tearing down the plaster and applying new?

Isn't it the plaster itself that has done its job?
