I was thinking of this construction on my outer wall

Cross-section diagram of a wall construction showing insulation layers, vertical ventilation battens, and labels for different components.

From the outside in: 95mm lock panel, 145mm baseboard, nail battens, weather barrier

This will allow for ventilation with the help of the 145mm boards since they will be spaced about ~5cm apart, covered by the lock board. Mouse band at the bottom to cover the holes that arise.

However, I now see that some constructions have an additional vertical ventilation batten behind the nail battens as shown in this image.

Cross-section diagram of an exterior wall construction, showing "vindskydd," "fasadskiva," "bottenbräda," "luftningsläkt," "spikläkt," and "droppbleck.

Is the ventilation I planned sufficient, or should there be an additional batten as seen in image number two?

I have no source, but I believe your intended venting is sufficient (as that's how I've built it). ;)

Also note that the battens are beveled at the top so that any moisture is directed OUT towards the panel and not in towards the wall.

Is there any battens that are beveled from the store or do you cut it yourself?

Cut or plane it yourself, unless you buy from a sawmill that can do it for you. I have never seen it at hardware stores.

Build with proper ventilation! If you plan to paint with linseed oil paint, it might work without ventilation, but I wouldn't do it then either. Facade battens are overkill and completely unnecessary.

What dimension do you recommend for the ventilation battens in that case?

The horizontal nail battens should be enough, I would say. Sometimes I've seen a thin Masonite strip placed between the nail batten and the gypsum/facade board, so you get a little ventilation there as well, which is probably good but a bit overkill.

28x70mm suffices in my opinion, and it has been used for many years.
New directives, however, say 34x70 if I'm not mistaken.

At the lock panel, it works fine that way.
For lockläkt, the recommendation from Svenskt Trä is an air gap of 34x70 as a nailing batten. I just wonder why it's different there... on the other hand.. it does improve ventilation, so why not, as long as it doesn't cause aesthetic issues as well.
