Hello! I set up a small Elfa system consisting of two rail tracks. Then it will have two 70cm long shelves and a desk top.

When I was about to screw in the last screw, I noticed that the rail sticks out a bit from the wall because the wall is uneven. So the screw does not fasten properly. Also, that particular hole became a bit large, and I used PL400, so the screw and plug move. What should I do now? Just leave it and assume the remaining five screws and plugs will hold, or address the last hole somehow?

What kind of wall construction is it?

Lightweight concrete!

Do you have 5 screws/plugs in each rail? What is the dimension of the screws?

Three on each rail. So a total of six, but one that doesn't fit well.

Diameter: 5.5 mm
Length: 64 mm

There shouldn't be anything very heavy on the shelves at the top. The shelves are 70 wide.

Place a spacer to fill the gap and see if you can get the screw to engage a bit.

Good idea. Maybe a piece of wood will work?
Or I'll have to find a larger plug and screw and see if that helps.
Although everything might hold up well regardless. It feels like the rails are fixed.

I would probably do both. There is also lightweight concrete screw that usually works very well. You screw them in without a plug. You drill a guide hole and then screw the screw in without a plug. You'll need to experiment a bit.

Ah thanks. Considering some anchor mass as well.
