For exterior walls and interior walls, the following tolerances apply according to Hus AMA 98 (Tab 27C/GSN-1):
Inclination: Measuring length in mm/600; minimum +- 5 mm, maximum +- 20 mm.
Flatness: +-5 mm over a measuring length of 2.0 m.
The same tolerances apply for interior walls.
For floor coverings, the following applies according to tab 44.BB/-1:
Inclination: Measuring length in mm/600; minimum +-8 mm maximum +- 20 mm.
Flatness: +- 3 mm over a measuring length of 2.0 m.
These measurements apply to parkett and laminate plank coverings. For other floor coverings, the same applies for inclination, but for flatness +- 5 mm.
This is what I found when I searched the forum.
But I just want to make sure of one thing.
"Measuring length in mm/600; minimum +- 5 mm, maximum +- 20 mm."
If you measure with a spirit level that is 600mm long, then the tolerance would be 1mm, i.e., 600/600. But then it states +-5mm as the minimum, i.e., 5mm on 600mm is acceptable?
Is this statement correct?
My own reflection is that I have higher requirements than that, especially when working for myself.
At the same time, if measuring a whole wall, e.g., 2500/6 it would still be a minimum of +-5mm? So a wall must be 3m high to have a measuring length of 3m to get +-5mm for the tightest tolerance, which doesn't seem relevant as walls are usually not that high?
