I'm going to renovate the bathroom and at the same time replace the floor in the hallway.. 2 places where underfloor heating is a big plus!
I want to install underfloor heating there.. But the thought immediately comes that I want to put underfloor heating in the 3 other rooms..

Sure, it will be a lot more work, but the floors in the other rooms are quite worn and will therefore be replaced eventually, although there's no rush..

I don't want to start too big of a project at once, but it would be so damn nice to be able to feed pipes up in and through the floor joists.. Otherwise, it will be a mess of pipes in the cellar ceiling if I wait and possibly replace the radiator system in phase 2.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did you think and reason, and what happened?

I will do the work myself, so I have a few weekends ahead of me 😀

It is district heating and a waterborne system at present.
