Unable to drill holes in the tile, how do I mount an exterior switch?

Admittedly, but when nothing else works, what do you do then? It costs both time and money to wear out regular drills that get ruined + that you don't get any holes...

Yes, in this context it's not much money and what is happiness if not another gadget in the toolbox?

I use double-sided tape almost exclusively on tiles instead of drilling.
Just make sure to clean thoroughly with denatured alcohol first.

Get a diamond drill for the angle grinder. It is unbeatable for stone and granite tiles.

Bought this drill and it was like drilling through butter, or, well, maybe frozen butter but it worked perfectly! A bit harder with precision than a classic tile drill but in this case, it wasn't so important. Thanks for the tip!
