Hello,

I have a house from the early 80s, where the original furnishings from the construction year are still present. In the laundry room and one of the bathrooms, there are wet room wallpapers, while another bathroom has tiles on the walls and a plastic floor mat. In several places, the wet room wallpaper has twisted in the corners and has come loose/bubbled up. In the bathroom with tiles, a corner has cracked in the grout (only one corner), and over both the wet room mat and the tiles, there is a fabric that is painted over – this fabric is also cracked.

It seems that 16 mm drywall has been used on all the walls.

The house is clad in brick and has a wooden frame and wooden joists.

What could this be due to and is there reason for concern? I have not been able to see any significant settling in the house, either in the foundation or in line with the affected walls. Everything seems to be intact.

All the best
