Hello!

I design stairs occasionally, but I've come across a staircase I made before.
L-shaped stair with a sharp outside corner and a radius of 450mm on the inner curve.
The width of the staircase is 1000mm.

Where is the walking line in the radius? The step is about 1600mm wide at the corner?
What is the radius on the walking line...
I usually calculate 1/3 in from the outer edge, which gives a radius of about 650mm.
But it seems strange in this case.

I'm not entirely sure I follow your description, but if you go 1/3 of the way in where the staircase is straight and then make a circular arc in the turn. What happens then?
