Hello, new to the forum and not sure if I've placed my question in the right section.
We have bought a house built in '63 with two wardrobes each in two adjoining rooms. (In a row, with two facing one way and two the other way)
We would like to turn two wardrobes so that the bedroom gets four and the office has no wardrobes. Do you think it's possible and how do you go about it? Has anyone done this in their house?

What does the back of the wardrobes look like? Is there a wall behind each pair of wardrobes, and if so, what is it made of? How are the wardrobes secured? You can't upload any pictures?
I'm not sure about the wall material because we haven't gained access yet, but I have a couple of pictures anyway.Bergendorff said:

Ok, I get it. It's a bit more than just swapping two wardrobes. It probably involves basically tearing down the wall and building it up again but with the wardrobes placed where you want them. It will be easier to assess once you've moved in and can take a closer look at the construction.
