need to supplement with dimensioning of rafters for the building permit
now I want glulam in the lower arm and can't find anywhere to calculate which one I need
I was thinking of 42/180 to gain a few cm in the loft
I think this should be enough
if I'm making it in timber, the dimension is 45/220 for the rafter

but I need to be able to show that it's the correct dimension in the building permit application
with load-bearing capability, etc., so can't guess or take a chance

snow load zone 2.5
metal roof
framework
supporting wall in the middle

25 degrees
length 9500
height 2100

the truss is as follows now after research according to the Swedish wood guide

ridge beam 9 m 115x225
ridge beam 6 m 115x270
underarm 10 m 115x225
now to the question
this turned out to be very expensive.... about 40k
can I replace the ridge beams in glue-laminated timber with double screwed together 45x220 c24
I know this is done by construction companies...
it's more work but a saving of about 10k
