The question may not be as tricky as it sounds, but still!
Let's say you should have 2.4m to the ceiling like a regular house.
Where do you measure from?
example - from the concrete slab to the plaster,
or from finished floor to the joists
or from the concrete slab to the joists
or from finished floor to etc. etc......

sending a section of k-section drawing!

  • A section of a construction drawing showing wall and ceiling details, with crosshatched patterns representing materials.
You measure from finished floor to finished ceiling. If you want 240 cm, you should have a wall height of 250 cm, from the slab to the truss/intermediate floor to have the margins on your side.

Floor 2mm foam + 15mm laminate ==> 18mm
Ceiling 22mm batten + 13mm plasterboard ==>35mm
