Hey!
I have found a bunch of really nice tiles that we want for our bathroom. The bathroom floor is cast and should match the height of the floor outside, preferably to the millimeter. The bathroom floor is sunken about 20mm but the tiles I found are almost the same. Is there any way in the world to reduce the thickness of the tiles so they could work?

You should also set the tiles in adhesive. But to answer your question, no. Install a higher threshold, it might not be noticeable once it's in place. 👍
Shaving off a few millimeters on a tile you can probably forget about. If they are ceramic tiles, it's not possible.C carlfredrik said:Hey!

Too bad you found them after casting; it would have been easier to adjust the height then.
So it'll probably mean rethinking with other tiles for purchase.
EDIT I just saw that they are limestone tiles, and they are kind of porous and can be ground down. But they also absorb water, which is not good, to a certain extent.
