We're enclosing a patio as shown in the picture below. It will be insulated but kept cool in winter at above freezing temperatures. The question is, what do we do with the existing wall?
1. We were thinking of using beadboard on the other walls, preferably on this one too, but should we place it on top of the existing one or remove the existing one?

2. If we cover with paneling and lay flooring, do we still need to consider the air gap behind it (i.e., let the beadboard stop a few cm from the floor) since it won't be exposed to weather?
