Hello,

I will now start installing 23mm raw edge board on all indoor walls, then a layer of drywall on top of that.

I'm wondering what is the best approach for the corners, should I attach a "metal corner bead" in all inner corners before screwing on the drywall? Because the raw edge board might move slightly, potentially causing the drywall corners to crack?

I have 17 mm råspont, that should be enough if you place it in the corners where one side is an outer wall, place it under the plasterboard, otherwise it will come too far in.

Hi,
I don't quite understand what you mean by it coming too far in. When I have a corner where the råspont meets, I'm considering installing such a metal corner that I screw into the råspont.

But nothing has happened in those corners either. I put paper tape and filled in the corners then.

I happened to place some metal corners before I installed the råspont, then the drywall screws didn't reach the metal corners when I placed the drywall afterward.

"Metal edges," you typically have those on exterior corners to protect the delicate drywall edges?

Steel corner bead for drywall, used to protect outer corners of walls from damage and wear.

I think they mean one of these

Hello,
These are the ones I'm thinking of, but there may be alternatives:

Yes, those are the ones I've used. For outer corners, I've used a paper strip with a metal strip on each side of the middle.

exactly works on outer and inner edges inside the gypsum

I use the latter instead of a paper strip in outer corners on top of the plasterboard.

Different, cool that it works for you. How do you attach it?

I embed it like with a regular paper tape, but it can handle a bit more than the paper tape due to the plates

Joint tape with metal strips on box labeled "ProRoc Flex Corner," used for reinforcing drywall corners.

I have gypsum in all window and door recesses, so this tape was cheaper than the punched metal profiles

aha. thought you took sheet metal angle and set it. no those punched metal profiles are not fun.
don't you like those in "plastic"? https://www.k-rauta.se/byggvaruhus/självhäftande-hörnskydd-l-2500mm
