Now it's time to polish the facade of the garage after it has stood for a few years with only façade gypsum. But I need tips and tricks on what to use.
My idea is to apply some form of insulation board on top of the façade gypsum, around 20-30 mm. What is preferable in that case? Polystyrene, mineral wool, or something else?
And then I assume you mesh and apply the mortar. C-mortar? How thick? The idea is to brush so I get a surface that looks "slicked".

Stone wool, not foam plastic! Foam plastic is diffusion-tight and can cause mold problems. Follow a described method, for example, Serporoc.
